Sinead Norenius-Raniere - Chairman of the Board
Sinead Norenius-Raniere is a results-driven Business Development and Marketing Executive with strong social media roots within the fashion and beauty industries. She has a deep and consistent track record developing and executing marketing programs that meet and exceed targets. Sinead is currently a Partner at The Pienza Collective where she help clients navigate the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing, social media strategy and influencer outreach along with preparing clients for TV Shopping (QVC, HSN, Evine) and retail distribution.
Prior to The Pienza Collective, Sinead was VP of Business Development at Women's Marketing Inc. a leading media planning, strategy and buying agency for beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands. There she was responsible for market grown and developing strategic partnerships with other media agencies, Ad Tech companies and Venture Capital / Private Equity Groups.
Before Women's Marketing Inc., Sinead was co-founder and CEO of the premium blogger network, iFabbo, which was acquired by Women's Marketing Inc. in 2014 and then by the Sway Group in July 2016. iFabbo is an industry leader in high-quality influencer marketing, connecting influential content curators to brands via a proprietary technology platform.
iFabbo, was a spinoff of Sinead's skincare product company, Beautisol, a luxury sunless tanning brand where she utilized the bloggersphere, social media and other crowdsourcing tactics to successful launch the company in 2009. The brand is distributed through luxury outlets and on HSN where Sinead was spokesperson for four years. Five Crowns Capital, acquired Beautisol in early 2015 where Sinead currently serves as an advisor to the Private Equity group.
Sinead is a member of CEW and Beauty Industry West and sits on the West Coast committee for ICMAD.
Ronie Schmelz - Board Member
Ronie Schmelz represents clients in broad-based commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on consumer class action defense at Tucker Ellis LLP. She also regularly counsels clients on litigation-avoidance strategies and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, including regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and other regulatory agencies; California Proposition 65; and advertising, labeling, and claim substantiation. Ronie has deep industry knowledge of and particular expertise in representing domestic and international companies in the cosmetics, personal care, and consumer product industries.
Ronie regularly defends consumer product companies in litigation asserting false advertising, unfair competition, and consumer protection claims, including claims asserted under California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition and False Advertising laws. She also represents companies in inquiries and investigations brought by local, state, and federal governmental agencies.
In addition to her general commercial litigation practice, Ronie has experience representing clients in insurance coverage matters, as well as reinsurers and cedents in reinsurance disputes.
Ronie is active in several trade and professional organizations serving the personal care product and insurance industries, and is regularly sought out to speak at industry conferences. She spent the first 25 years of her career practicing in the Los Angeles office of Sidley Austin LLP, where she represented clients in complex commercial litigation, consumer class actions, real estate, health care, reinsurance disputes, and governmental investigations.

Jill Dunk - Board Member
Jill Dunk is a mentor, a connector and a beauty industry veteran with a proven track record of developing, launching, growing and selling brands. With a passion for nurturing emerging brands, Jill specializes in Retail Distribution Strategy, Operational Management and Business Strategy and Development. Jill helps clients at The Pienza Collective hone their distribution strategy and maximize profitably and efficiency, all while remaining true to their brand roots.
Earlier in her career, Jill was a founding partner of Mama Mio, the pioneer in pregnancy skincare. Along with launching this new category, she created a new retail channel at the largest US maternity clothing retailer, Destination Maternity. After launching in 2005, Jill and her team grew the brand, which sold to The Hut Group in 2015.
Prior to Mio, Jill was part of the founding team at Urban Decay. As EVP of Sales, Jill helped create not only what remains a top-selling line at Sephora, but was also one of the first to launch color at non-traditional channels outside of mainstream beauty. In 1999, Jill was a part of the Executive team that managed the sale of Urban Decay to LVMH.
As a results-driven consultant, Jill has worked with top brands such as Too Faced, Butter London, Deborah Lippman, Pop and Pixi Beauty, Clarisonic and Lash Star Beauty. Jill’s areas of expertise also include consulting CEO / COO support, guidance for start-up operations, marketing, international expansion, small business coaching, and advising private equity firms.
Jill is an active member of the beauty industry community, serving on the ISPA Speaker Committee, as the ISPA Speaker Committee Vice-Chair, West Coast Vice-Chair at CEW, and a Board Member of TSOVET.
Patricia Wyrod - Board Member
Patricia Wyrod is the Founder of Think Create Group, a consulting company in San Francisco that provides business and legal advice for companies in Beauty, E-commerce, Influencer Marketing and High Tech. All of her clients are in the business of being creative.
Prior to founding Think Create Group, Patricia was the General Counsel of ipsy.com founded by Michelle Phan, the most successful beauty influencer in the world. In late 2015 ipsy close a $100 million Series B financing round, making it one of Silicon Valley’s biggest beauty and e-commerce success stories.
Before to ipsy, from 2008 – 2013 Patricia was the Assistant General Counsel of Silver Spring Networks, a Silicon Valley high tech company that IPO’d in 2013. Other roles include Vice President of Legal from 2000 – 2005 for SPL WorldGroup, a global software company sold to Oracle and interim General Counsel to Virgin American Airlines.
She is a beauty enthusiast with a passion for helping talented companies launch, scale and exit. Patricia grew up in Michigan and attended law school at Michigan Law School and The College of Europe in Brugge, Belgium.
